POSITION TITLE: Direct Support Professional(s)  Full-Time , Permanent  

NATURE OF POSITION:

The candidate(s) will provide a variety of personalized supports for individuals who currently reside in Adult Supported Group Living Services. The successful candidate in this position will be required to work an hour base of 80 hours per pay period (bi-weekly).       

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• The candidate(s) must have a relevant 2-year Community College Diploma, related University Degree or equivalent experience in the field.
• Police clearance with vulnerable sector screening.
• A valid G driver's license and insurable by the agency’s insurance company.
• Must be full vaccinated for Covid-19 and provide proof.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to respond to individual needs and crisis situations in a calm, productive manner.
• Well-developed organizational and communication skills are essential.
• Experience working with and following Behaviour Support Plans (BSP’s)
• Must be available to work, days, evenings, sleep shifts, weekends, and, must be committed to be available for call in shifts.
• Bilingual in French is an asset
