We are your Maritime John Deere Dealership with 15 locations to serve you, and we are looking for a skilled, dedicated person to fill the position of Road Technician - Agricultural Equipment at our Middleton, NS location.

Purpose:
Sells new and used John Deere Agricultural equipment to new and existing customers.

Responsibilities:

• Represent the company for the sale of machinery to customers in a defined sales area
• Maintain current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment
• Monitor competitive activity/products
• Maintain all customer information in assigned territory
• Follow a defined sales process
• Assist with the preparation and execution of customer events
• Conduct new equipment field demonstrations
• Monitor trends in customer's business activities
• Maintain current knowledge of financing options to assist customers
• Attend applicable sales training events/seminars

Requirements:

• 1+ years experience an asset
• Knowledge of agricultural equipment, farming, or operational practices an asset
• Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Excellent customer relationship skills
• Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports
