Our company was established in 2002, is a large sized master trader of non-ferrous products including aluminum & stainless steel, in all shapes & forms. We currently have three strategically located facilities in Canada & the USA which carry standard stock of aluminum coils, sheets, plates, extrusions and stainless steel sheets.

Salary: From $65,000.00 per year

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of a range of goods
• Ensure all products are packed with strict adherence to Safety policies and customer specifications

• Assists during the recruitment of warehouse staff

• Ensure that all workers adhere to policies & procedures
• Hold employees accountable to maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Manage and grow the 3PL division
• Establish operational objectives to be achieved on a daily, weekly and monthly basis;
• Proactively improve operational processes to achieve higher levels of effectiveness
• Coordinate with customers and other departments
• Ensure that quality objectives and delivery deadlines are met
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation
• Stock Control an inventory management
• Increase process efficiencies and lower cost, keeping quality and customer satisfaction
• Manage Manpower depending on the fluctuation of delivery volumes
• Rigorous control and monitoring to ensure the highest levels of Security, Organization, cleanliness and efficiency
• Support, Coach and constantly improve the team’s skills

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years recent & relevant warehouse management experience
• 2 to 4 years of 3PL and Logistics experience
• Post-secondary education in Logistics or a related discipline is a must
• Knowledge of distribution supply chain management
• Knowledge and experience in provincial employment and safety legislation (Specially in the warehousing and logistics field)

• Working knowledge of warehouse management systems
• Advanced Microsoft office skills specially in Outlook and Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
• Results oriented, Self-Learner with a drive for constant improvement
• Great sense of initiative and leadership
