About us

Since 1952 our company has grown to be the largest producers of extrusion tooling globally. It has six state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. Our primary mission is to provide aluminum extrusion dies which will produce quality product with maximum speed and efficiency; primarily by designs that ease the extrusion process and assure long operating life – conditions that support extruder demands.

 

We are seeking an Accounting & Office Administrator to work inside our Markham location (HWY7 & Woodbine). This is an in-office position.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

Sales Invoicing:

  • Issue invoices to customers on a daily basis, including reconciliation to shipping paperwork and accounting records
  • Assist the Sr. Accountant with contacting customers and following-up on outstanding balances

Accounts Payable:

  • Enter vendor invoices into ERP system; perform 3-way matching (Invoice, Delivery Note and Purchase Order) and work closely with Purchasing and vendors to resolve differences
  • Prepare cheque runs which occur once every other week
  • Maintain all vendor correspondence and proper filling of such records

Office Duties:

  • Reception including answering phones, sorting mail, attending visitors, etc.
  • Prepare expense reports, manage Outlook calendar and prepare/distribute team announcement/communication for the General Manager and a few other Department Leads
  • Book business travels; Schedule meetings with both internal and external parties
  • Work with Purchaser to ensure there is enough office and kitchen supplies
  • Manage the external cleaning team to ensure office and lunchroom stays clean and sanitized

 

Qualification:

  • Fluent in English both verbally and in writing
  • Previous working experience in office administration, preferably in a manufacturing environment (executive assistant experience is an asset)
  • Willingness to learn Account Payable and Invoicing processes
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration or Commerce would be an asset
  • Quick learner, attention to detail, thoroughness, organization, interpersonal and communication skill
  • PC proficiency (Office suite, particularly Word, Outlook and Excel)
