Door Assembler

Our Abbotsford, BC division is currently hiring a hard-working experienced full-time Door Assembler. In this role you will use basic hand-tools (saws, drills, nail guns) to assist the team with the manufacturing and assembling of interior and exterior door units.

This production position works Monday to Thursday from 10:00am to 8:30pm. The hourly rate depending on experience is $20 to $22 per hour (inclusive of a $1.00/hour shift premium).

Qualifications:

• Door shop experience/knowledge of door components and assembling techniques, preferred
• Carpentry/wood working experience, preferred
• Mathematical aptitude, able to read a tape measure and have the understanding of imperial measurements to the 1/32 on an inch
• Able to stand and/or be on your feet for an entire shift
• Comfortable with safely using the following:
  • CNC machine
  • Chop saws, table saws, rip saws, hand saws
  • Routers, nail guns, door machines
  • Various pneumatic tools and drills
• Willing to be cross trained in all areas of production
