As a logistics coordinator, you will:
Rely on your strong communication skills (verbal, written, attentive listening) to coordinate with freight carriers and customers. Arrange and monitor the transport of truckload and less-than-truckload freight.
Work collaboratively with the Logistics Manager and sales team to negotiate truckload and less-than-truckload rates with customers and carriers.
Use your positive attitude to build relationships and provide exceptional customer service when on-call, outside of the regular Monday-Friday weekday hours.
Make appropriate, rapid decisions where time sensitive and creative solutions are required.
Complete associated data entry and administrative tasks as needed.
