The Assistant Manager is a key player on the Co-op Management Team. Working with the General Manager, the Assistant Manager will support the management of the day-to-day operations of the Co-operative with a focus on the retail store. Responsibilities include inventory management, merchandising, staff training and development, achieving specific financial performance targets and providing superior customer service to the Co-op members.

Experience:

You have retail experience working in food and/or non-food operations with a career focus to develop your retail management skills. As a key decision-maker directly impacting the profitability of Co-op businesses, you have exceptional analytical, communication and interpersonal skills. You are committed to providing excellent customer service and strive to be a community business leader. Success working in a multi-cultural environment would be a definite asset.
