We are a progressive, experienced and leading manufacturer well known for its high quality products, which include design, engineer, fabrication, package and service a range of pressure vessels, pipe spooling, structural skids and cargo transports; and services the truck and transport, natural resources (oil and natural gas, and mining), propane distribution and marketing, power generation and cryogenic industries across Canada.
We currently have an opening for a Process Optimization Technologist to work at our Calgary / Crossfield plant.
The successful csndidate will be responsible for documenting and organizing all of our current production processes to determine opportunities for improved efficiencies and manufacturing cost reductions.
Duties and Responsibilities
Analyze and document all current production processes.
Assist in creating scalable processes with improved efficiencies and reduced costs.
Research and assist in the implementation of new methods and technologies to enhance processes.
Assist with the development of time standards associated with all aspects of the various manufacturing processes per product line.
Qualifications and Requirements
Past experience, analyzing production processes with demonstrating cost reduction and improved efficiency results.
Strong background and knowledge of the Manufacturing industry.
Post secondary education and /or years of experience in a Manufacturing environment would be an asset.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team and to determine opportunities for improvement.
Self -motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Superior attention to detail, critical thinking skills and the ability to multi-task.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in order to effectively present recommendations.
Competent with Microsoft Word and Excel.
