General Labourers Needed Scarborough 44373

Many of our clients are ramping up for their busy winter season! We are currently looking for motivated and reliable general labour workers to fill their needs. If you are energetic, have a reputation for being counted on, with a “get it done” attitude, please apply today!

We have day, afternoon and night shifts available, along with some weekends. We can accommodate both part and full time, provided you are able to work 8hr shifts.

Pay rates begin at $10.25/hr, depending on position.

Our positions are throughout Scarborough, the surrounding GTA and Markham.

Tasks can involve (but are not limited to):
-         Packing/unpacking goods into bags/boxes or other containers
-         Cleaning work areas and equipment
-         Material handling and feeding processing machines
-         Doing quality checks on products and packaging
-         Machine operating/assisting machine operators
-         Loading/unloading/moving products and materials by hand or with pump trucks (electric or manual)
-         Picking orders and stocking, either with RF Scanners or Pick sheets as necessary
-         Wrapping goods, readying products for shipping
-         Sorting/crating/stacking goods as necessary
-         Maintaining and organizing inventory
-         Driving forklift (need valid certification and 2+ years previous experience)
-         We can accommodate those able to do both light (less than 30lbs) or heavy (30-50+ lbs) labour

Possible work environments can include:
-         Warehouse work- storage companies, distribution centers, shipping/receiving centers
-         Various manufacturing companies – food and general products
-         Arenas and other public settings
-         Both normal and temperature controlled environments (heated or cooled)
-         Working in team and/or individual settings
-         Settings are generally fast paced, with repetitive tasks

To be successful in our positions, you should have the following skills and qualifications:
-         Previous general labour work experience
-         CSA approved steel-toed safety shoes/boots
-         English communication skills – verbal, reading
-         Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination
-         Own transportation is an asset, though not necessary
