We are currently recruiting for DZ OR AZ Drivers for our job location in Pickering Ontario (Salem Road and Hwy 407) 

$23.46 an hour with Standby pay and Seasonal Bonus available

Job Type: Seasonal Contract

 

We provide winter maintenance services on Hwy 407 and Hwy 412.

Job Responsibilities

• Operation of a combination plow and wing unit safely during snow clearing operations – unit configuration consists of tandem trucks with “V” or “U” body spreaders, unidirectional or reversible front plows, right-side wing plows, and/or DLA anti-icing equipment

• Perform minor equipment repairs when required (e.g. bulb replacement, etc.)

• Provide complete and accurate paperwork as required (e.g. hours of service, etc.)

• Ensure equipment is functioning properly

 

Job Requirements

• General knowledge of the winter maintenance equipment and vehicle fleet

• Comfortable driving in tandem plow configurations

• DZ or AZ license required at time of assignment (minimum).

• Clean Driver Abstract

• Ability to work shift work and potentially long hours

• Prior snow plow operation experience a plus

• Team player
• Ability to respond within 30 minutes
