Job Summary:

As a CNC Programmer/Operator, you will machine components for  production. Successful candidates will monitor quality by taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, troubleshooting processes and adjusting and/or reprogramming control while adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.

 

Job Duties:

  • Familiarity with CAD programming software, modeling, and manufacturing
  • Prepare CNC programs and setup machine
  • Support machine setup and operation personnel
  • Modeling/Design of surfaces and support structures nice to have
  • Emphasis is placed on a continuous process of improvement
  • The position will be a combination of office and manufacturing environment duties
  • Comply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, local regulatory laws, and company safety policies

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 year degree in machining, preferred
  • 3+ years’ experience as a programmer/machinist in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with Cam software
  • Knowledge of G & M Codes
  • Experience with HAAS CNC mills and lathes an asset
  • Must be able to read precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, depth gages)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good math skills
  • Ability to work assigned hours plus overtime as needed
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time

 

Salary: $25.00+ based on experience
