Crane/Boom Truck Operator

We’re looking for a self-sufficient, motivated Class B driver with NCCCO certification for our Capitol Heights location on W. Hampton Place who wants to help us expand our fast-growing business in this area.

 

Responsibilities

  • Complete scheduled deliveries and pickups
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Load and unload materials
  • Comply with company and government regulations and rules
  • Ensure load securement including the installation of corner boards to protect products while in transport
  • Match shipments to sales invoices
  • Use Samsara to ensure compliance, safety, efficiency and customer service
  • Operate truck safely

 

Requirements

  • Class B Commercial Drivers License
  • Crane experience and NCCCO certification required
  • Passionate about great service & teamwork
  • Dedicated to safety, on and off the road
  • Able to work outdoors
  • Clean CVOR abstract
  • Experience in the construction/roofing business would be an asset
  • Ability to drive trucks with a manual transmission
  • Physically able to complete job tasks such as climbing ladders, pulling and throwing tarps, lifting up to 100 lbs.
  • Able to work overtime if required
  • Ability to pass a Criminal Background check
