We are hiring to build a robust Talent and Development team to support our bakeries and Team Members.

Role Overview:

The Maintenance Supervisor assumes the role of a technical leader and has overall responsibility for ensuring timely and quality repair of equipment and plant machinery to minimize downtime for safe and efficient operation. The role takes initiatives to ensure operations are in compliance with safety standards and environmental practices.

Job Details:

• Responsible for the maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment
• Manage, coach, and train new team members and empower the maintenance team. 
• Assess contractor skill requirements and liaise with contractors to provide assistance needed.
• Use information tools to look for opportunities to improve line efficiency, trends, and drive bakery priorities.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment failures
• Direct and lead maintenance staff in everyday scheduling, preventative maintenance, repair of all production equipment
• Maintain equipment and parts inventory using available resources
• Schedule and supervise major equipment repairs, overhauls, and rebuilding to ensure that it is fully operational and safe
• Monitors and reports on the site’s environmental conditions and practices and recommends actions for improvements and conformity
• Coordinates all phases of plant projects to ensure timely completion and cost-effectiveness

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience working as a maintenance Supervisor or Team Lead, preferably in a food manufacturing environment (even better if it was Bakery!). 
• Experience with OHSA regulations, PLC’s and Preventative maintenance programs
• Must have 309A / 442A Electrician or 433A Millwright ticket
• You have working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
