SHIPPER - CALGARY, AB

WAGE: $18.50 / hour, plus night shift premium of $ 1.50 from 7:00PM to 6:00AM 

SHIFT: Should be available for all shifts and timings.  Length of shifts can vary from 8 hours to 12 hours. Flexibility with working overtime and on weekends, as necessary.

Our bakery team is the heart of our company and plays an important role in keeping North America’s food supply going. Our Shippers/Receivers are important members of the supply chain network and play a critical role in the distribution of our goods across North America. 

In a typical day you will: 

• Work as part of the Shipping Team to ensure the accuracy, timeliness and product quality of customer orders;
• Work in the warehouse operating a Stand-up and/or Counter Balance forklift, and pallet walk-behind and a ride on, operating wheelers (dollies)
• Move stacks of bread from the shipping area into trailers using operating wheelers/dollies;

• Move empty stacks of bread trays from the trailer into the plant using a dolly;
• Organize shipping floor, freezer & aisles (maintain required number of trays for packaging & finished products);
• Pick orders and fill trailers in correct order;

• Complete all paperwork including forklift daily inspection and conduct food safety checks on trailer.

About You: 

• Have previous experience in a manufacturing environment (even better if it was food manufacturing!)
• You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, are self-reliant, and be energized by opportunities to learn and grow, and be a steward of your own career
• Forklift license and knowledge of SAP an advantage
• You have a very good understanding of warehouse Shipping/Receiving procedures and equipment
