POSITION LOCATION:

This position is based out of our plant located on

Tristar Drive in Mississauga.

MAJOR DUTIES/OUTCOMES:

  • Check customer specs and dockets for requirements/special instructions
  • Band and wrap skids
  • Ability to operate jogging table plus the ability to jog paper.
  • Ability to operate Flipper
  • Pull defective sheets from job and notify a lead hand
  • Adhere to and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Daily completion of inspection re-post prior to using lift equipment. Any equipment deficiencies identified during inspection or operation must be brought to the Supervisor’s attention immediately
  • Ensure work area is clean and safe throughout the shift and at the end of each shift
  • Ensure self and others work in a safe possible way, reporting injuries, occurrences or near misses to Supervisors
  • Ensure that all the required personal protective equipment is worn at required times and in the required areas
  • Other duties as required

 

PRIMARY JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Able to read and write English
  • Able to work well independently or on a team
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to perform duties accurately and efficiently
  • Candidate must be willing to work a shift rotation.
