Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain production line equipment.
  • Investigate abnormal product and process conditions along with line stoppage issues.
  • Perform equipment change-overs.
  • Responsible for quality control. Make adjustments as necessary to produce product within specifications. Reject product outside of specifications.
  • Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and job safety guidelines.
  • Complete daily production logs.
  • Communicate with operators within and across other shifts.
  • 5S - Clean and maintain work area and complete total productive maintenance (TPM).
  • Respond to equipment alarms during start/stop conditions.
  • Record and input production data into computer work stations.

 

We run a three shift operation. Candidates must be available to work on any shift and must be available to start immediately.

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to understand abnormal conditions.
  • Ability to grasp technical concepts and multitask.
  • Strong attention to detail, a quality conscious mindset.
  • Previous experience in electronic and mechanical assembly is an asset.
